Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Selene, a booking service operated by Thalos AI LLC ("we," "us"). By creating an account, connecting an assistant or application to Selene, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms. Thalos AI also operates a text-message assistant built on Selene; the sections below apply to it as well.

The service

Selene is a booking facilitation service. It lets AI assistants and other software you authorize search for merchants and submit appointment and reservation requests on your behalf, using contact details you provide. Some features depend on third-party services and on information you provide, and are offered on an as-available basis.

Bookings are requests fulfilled by merchants

Selene submits your request to the merchant. Selene is not the merchant and does not provide the service you are booking. The merchant sets its own prices, policies, cancellation and no-show terms, and decides whether to accept a request. A confirmation reflects what the merchant told us; it is not a guarantee by Thalos AI that the appointment will be honoured.

Changing or cancelling a booking

Cancellation and rescheduling are governed by the merchant's own policy. Selene cannot generally cancel on your behalf, and where it cannot, it will tell you so and direct you to the merchant. Contacting the merchant remains your responsibility, and you are responsible for any fees their policy imposes.

Your account and connected services

• You are responsible for your account, for any assistant or application you connect and the permissions you grant it, and for the accuracy of information you give Selene. Actions an authorized assistant takes through Selene are treated as taken by you.
• Connecting a Google account is optional. When you connect, you authorize Selene to access your Gmail and Calendar as described in our Privacy Policy, and only to perform actions you request. You can disconnect at any time.
• You may opt out of messages at any time by replying STOP.

Actions taken on your behalf

Selene may draft messages, send email, create or change calendar events, and make or request bookings when you ask it to. Consequential actions are confirmed with you first. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming actions before they are carried out, and for any commitments (such as reservations) made through Selene.

Acceptable use

• Don't use Selene for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive purposes.
• Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
• Don't use Selene to access accounts or data you are not authorized to use.

Third-party services

Selene relies on third parties (including Google, our messaging provider, and AI model providers) to deliver its features. We are not responsible for those services' availability or actions, and your use of connected services is also governed by their own terms.

Disclaimers

Selene is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. Selene can make mistakes; verify anything important before relying on it. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any booking or action will succeed.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thalos AI will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) Selene.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms or modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time. We may suspend access for conduct that violates these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
